pianocat oof, I hear you. I really want to get my piano tuned as well. But it’s defintely not going to happen before the PT recital. I invited friends over for Feb 22 (in advance of the recital I’m to play at the retirement community) so it would be nice to get it tuned before then… we’ll see.
In other news, I finally dealt with my iCloud storage problem. I spent several hours on it :/ First I went through and deleted photos. I have a habit of taking close up photos of flowers and plants, and just scrolling through and deleting all flower and plant photos that weren’t “favorited” made a huge difference and surprisingly didn’t take all that long. I just decided not to delete anything that had people in it, and only delete series of photos that were obviously just plant-appreciation. 😅
Then I added iCloud to my laptop’s desktop and now I’m going through and transferring old piano videos from my phone onto my laptop. This doesn’t have to be done right away, since I now have enough storage space again. But eventually I’ll delete some of those two. All the recordings that I like I’ve uploaded to YouTube anyway. And for future, I need to be more diligent about “favoriting” videos worth keeping, and deleting the ones that are not worth keeping.
But point being, I now have no excuse for not getting a recital submission! 😅
