Haydn sonata in F major, 1st movement

Still a WIP, but I thought I might share this video. I find it to be a real pain to make this piece sound musical, maybe that's just me.

thanks, i enjoyed this. curious- where do you do your recordings? it looks like the same/similar place, such as a practice room, but meanwhile with lots of different pianos (Schimmel Konzert; Wilheim Schimmel; Steinway; Shigeru). All high quality pianos... all in the same building?

You have a nice touch for this music. Perhaps it can be thought of as something playable on a clavichord, accordingly without sustain pedal, and intimate in scope. (I don't know whether Haydn at this point had started using an early piano.)
