This one of my favorite Richard Thompson songs. it was tought to do on my keyboard as it is such an amazing guitar song. I did it on piano (with a prepared drum track) and then added electric guitar, bass and back up vocals. Not sure about my vocal (seems a bit detached) but overall i'm pretty happy with the instrumental. Favorite line..."Red hair and black leather, my favorite color schemes".

I first heard Richard Thompson back in the early 70's when he was in my all time favourite folk rock band, 'Fairport Convention'. Coincidentally, I recently was trying out guitar VSTs and recorded a short instrumental of his song 'Dimming of the Day'
