Jane It would probably be better to record the audio separately on the laptop, but for this I'm just running an adapter cable from the Scarlett's audio out to a USB-C connector going into my phone.
The recording you shared here sounds very nice, so the question would be is it worth the extra trouble. I have a Zoom H4N recorder but I stopped using it long ago because even though it’s better than the sound quality I get from recording on my phone, it’s not that much better. And when I thought about all the extra steps, I decide I’d it just wasn’t worth the trouble. Granted, I’m recording an acoustic, so with a digital, there may be more to gain for you, I don’t know.
But I think it sounds great! And so does your playing! 💕🎶💕
Anyway, don’t listen to me, I think I must be the laziest PT-er when it comes to recording… 😁
