This is my newest song. (I also just put up my cover of "Hurt" by Trent Reznor.) Except for the bass (played on my Breedlove five string) all the instruments are played on my Yamaha GP-295. Recording and mixing done using Studio 0ne. Here is the description I put up on the youtube channel, the lyrics are there as well;
I was trying to work a cover of my favorite Tracy Chapman song, Give Me One Reason, when I realized that it just was not going to happen. Her lyrics are wonderful but just would not work for me. But I love the way she starts the song so I kept that and then wrote my own song. So if the beginning sounds familiar...that's why. As to the song itself... as a painter I made much of my living painting wild women and there was one thing I learned ...most women look at themselves as being pretty wild in one way or another. So this song is for them.
