PianoMonk Thanks for sharing! Lovely laid back sound, exquisitely played!

I caught a couple of very brief snippets of familiar tunes: Pink Panther and Moondance. Based on the title Iā€™m guessing there are more that I missed. Very fun!

rogerch A bit of Summertime crept in there, maybe because of the nasty winter weather. Thanks. Glad you liked it.

navindra Thanks. Glad you liked it.
Re: "playing like this", not much of a mystery; Minor Blues scale, Dominant Seventh scale, Melodic Minor scale, pick and choose bit and pieces, throw in a few quotes from song melodies that the chords might remind you of, and Bob's your uncle.

Wow! That was cool for cats! Great performance and production. Loved it.

Rob Thanks. Glad you liked it.

Very pleasant and smooth, PianoMonk! Loved everything about it, including the picture of the cats. That walking bass was just so good, in combination with the drums and piano/guitar. I could easily imagine myself inside a Philip Marlowe movie with Humphrey Bogart/Lauren Bacall šŸ˜‚

Sophia Thanks. I like Bogart, too. The Big Sleep is where the couple pair up with he as Marlowe; one of my favorites, too.
By the way, the name of my last blues band project (late 80's) was called "Doghouse Riley", the name Marlowe jokingly gives General Sternwood's daughter, Carmen, when she asks his name in The Big Sleep.
