Josef Hoffman: Piano Playing with Piano Questions Answered. Not a book I would recommend very much. Although many consider him a very great pianist (I'm not in that group) and he may have been a very good teacher for those he taught Curtis(I don't know anything about his students), his writing style seems very repetitious, quite archaic, and not very clear in the lengthier sections of the first half of the book. The second half of the book, where Hoffman answers specific questions from readers, is better. When explaining some of his ideas he does sometimes make very interesting and effective analogies.
