Sam — The Never Finished Piece
I’m glad I listened to this again. This time around I was struck by the intricate interplay between the top and bottom voices. I hear two intertwined melodies. I hear the top voice leading the bottom voice in a lovely dialogue. Beautiful!

MarieJ — Waltz in F minor
This waltz is a lovely piece, especially the way you play it. I really like your smooth, expressive playing and the way you bring out the melody. I also really like the way you contrast the middle section with the beginning and end.

Player1 — Ashokan Farewell
Great piece! I like the way you bring out the harmonies and the motion in the accompaniment. Thanks for your playing!

Rubens — Sonata no.2, Op.36 (1913), 2nd movement
Wow, great playing! Your playing sounds professional to my ears. The attention to detail is really impressive. Whether you are playing delicately or with great force I hear individual accents throughout where you add texture within the overall mood. You’ve opened my ears and my mind! I’m inspired!

Cratersmash — Sonata No. 3 in A Minor
You are really talented! I’m impressed! Your expert playing of this difficult piece sounds great! You seemed completely confident throughout and I really like the way you presented such different musical ideas: wild displays of technique and subdued lyrical passages. Thanks for your playing!

Gooseberry — Pigalle
Thanks for sharing your lovely playing of this beautiful piece! I love the way you shape the phrases with dynamics and rubato. Masterfully played!

My hands get cold easily too and if I play piano or type when they are cold my hands hurt. I used to wear fingerless gloves a lot. Now if my hands are cold I drink hot water.

Rob — Lost
Lost is a very beautiful piece, and I love the way you play it! I like the way the bass resonates and the melody floats on top. The phrasing and the chord changes are lovely. Thank you for your playing!

lilypad — God Bless the Child
Very nice smooth jazz! It sounds well balanced and I like the way the piece hangs together. I’m not familiar with the Blood, Sweat & Tears version but I think the steady rhythm works.

BicBic — Prelude no.4 in E minor from Op 11
I’m no Scriabin expert but your playing sounds great to me. I like the dynamic contrasts and the way you bring out the motion in the left hand.

rsl12 Thanks for doing that research. I had an idea the long intro would have been in the original score as I have previously played As Time Goes By which also has a two page intro that is hardly ever heard.

At times I was rather frustrated by the small print of the score. I do like Brent Edstrom's jazz arrangements available on Sheet Music Direct and this was perhaps the first score I had eyesight difficulties with. I tend not to notice hesitations when playing to myself. I had recorded it very early and intended to improve it but other music got in the way and also believe that things need not be perfect. If I was to record it again there would be different mistakes.__

BicBic — Prelude no.4 in E minor from Op 11 – The piece looks quite tricky, but you played it beautifully! Very enjoyable to listen to.

javiercorre — Sonatas K. 208 and K. 380 – That was impressive - two lovely sonatas, very nicely played, and from memory. You’ve got this! Good luck with your recital/exam!

SalmonJack — Bliss Ten – I enjoyed very much this beautiful ride on your boat and listening to your composition, very refreshing, thank you!

rsl12 — I am the very model of a modern Major-General – Great playing and singing, very entertaining! And though it was a real challenge for my deficient knowledge of English, I realised I was still smiling long after your video finished.

Sgisela — Do Tebe (to you) – Hauntingly beautiful, your deeply emotional playing speaks to the heart of the listener. Now this music will stay with me forever.

ShiroKuro — Reminiscence – Wonderful playing, I loved it. Good luck in the concert, you’ll do great, I’m sure.

Pathbreaker — Larghetto – If this is a work in progress, I wonder how your finished work sounds, because to me it was already expertly played.

diretonic — Chega de Saudade (No More Blues) – Great arrangement, and fantastic playing.
