I was so delighted to watch this video - I don't think I've come across such a thorough and nuanced discussion of what is involved in playing a comparatively simple piece musically. He demonstrates why thinking about singing is important in intuiting how each note in a phrase should be adjusted to shape the phrase, and how the overall physical movements of the hand/arm/body can naturally shape a phrase without having to micromanage or think about each note. He also gives a lovely example of one of the sometimes-desirable effects of holding a note for just a minuscule bit longer, shows beautifully how to teach yourself how to clearly articulate two voices, etc.
Really, IMO it's the best video I've seen on a beginner-level (not sheer novice; by beginner I mean not intermediate level) piece. In my struggles to regain my musicality, I've watched many on-line tutorials of simple pieces, and I pretty universally come away feeling at best disappointed (and far more often disgusted). Until I watched this video, I would have said that Graham Fitch is better than most, but still not worth that much of my time. But this makes me think that I should watch this entire series, even if costs me money. (I have no clue if paid access is required.)
The first two minutes are IMO old-hat boring, but after that he takes off:
