This story isn't related to piano at all, but I found it interesting to think about how machines can be used to realise creative concepts that are the brainchild of humans.

Much like instead of using multiple voices on digital instruments you could have multiple different acoustic pianos, no doubt this orchestra could have had three human conductors instead of three robot arms. I just wonder how difficult that would have been for each conductor to keep focus. The interface of art and technology can perhaps go beyond the capabilities of people alone, and this would seem to be a more positive use of technology than some current examples.
