Hello, fellow piano enthusiasts!
In the image shown below, the key is e-flat major, and the tempo is approximately 86 to a quarter note. Both hands start in the bass clef. I'm trying to get this arpeggio in both hands to sound even. (I'm not sure whether I'm going to play it ff as indicated or not, but regardless of how loudly I play it, I have trouble getting all of the notes even. I've tried using dotted rhythms, accenting the notes that are less likely to be accurate and tend not to "speak" (typically the Gs right before the position shift in both hands), but I don't seem to be having a whole lot of success. Perhaps someone has a recommendation? (This is a work by Rossini for solo piano.)
Thanks, Kurt
