Sidokar I think that whether a given video is a practice video or a semi-finished or "fully" finished product does not change the nature of the comments. The issues are still there. The main difference is that for work in progress some of them will go away naturally as the player is aware of those and know how to address them, some others are things he is not fully aware of.
This will depend on the person posting. For example, I work in stages and layers depending on the piece, and I also work toward given goals at different times. * Supposing that I have a stage where I choose to play slowly with a goal to speed up later. Advice that it's not fast enough would be off the mark. * Suppose that I choose to play without dynamics or voicing while getting the notes solid. In sharing a practice recording, I need to make these things clear. Advice that dynamics are missing again would be off the mark. But in that, if there are wrong notes, or timing is off, that feedback would suit the occasion.
Or what about goals? I'm having timing problems and am showing in my practice how I'm addressing it, or checking whether timing is ok because I can't necessarily hear it.
We should probably also differentiated between a "practice video", and "results of practice" video. If we practice smaller sections, maybe out of order focusing on difficult sections first, showing that would be a practice video. Otoh, a video might be after having done that kind of work, "Here's where I am now. Is my timing good? What weak spots should I work on next?" (for example)
I do believe that the nature of comments would be different, for the reasons I wrote. That will also depend on the person posting.
